SAY HELLO TO AN ISLAND KINGDOM

Welcome to the Kingdom on Tonga! If diving is your thing you need look no further, get close and personal with some of natures most gentle giants with whale watching and diving then relax with sunkissed beaches!

Day by Day Itinerary

Here is just an idea on what to expect from your Tongan catamaran yacht charter. It all depends on YOUR wants and desires, we tailor to pace you would like to take, the only other factor to consider is the weather. Get ready to create your own adventure, depending on what you want.

Day 1: The Adventure Begins!

Your holiday aboard starts with being met at Vavaʻu (Lupepauʻu) International Airport by your Captain and Host, before being whisked away to your catamaran.
You will be welcomed aboard with fresh fruits, champagne, drinks, and hors-d’oeuvre, where you can wind down with the scent of tropical flowers and the relaxing sounds of the distant waves on the reef.
Next, your Captain will show you around the yacht so you can get to know your home for the next week and you will be given a safety briefing. Then we will cast off and watch the sunset at Port Maurelle.
Your personal chef and host will prepare dinner. Together we will plan your personal itinerary.

Day 2: Get Wet in Crystal Clear Waters!

Wake up to a hearty breakfast and the warm ocean breeze of the South Pacific.
While in Port Maurelle you can snorkel or swim in the clear water (if we are lucky a manta ray may swim by to welcome you), you can paddle board, go for a ski tube behind our 3.5-meter Rib or just lay around and soak up the rays of the sun.
After lunch, it’s a short sail around to ‘Swallows cave’ if the weather is calm we can drive the Rib into the mouth of the cave. Explore the cave, snorkel, read the inscriptions in the wall dating back to the late 1800s.

3/4: Ooohs & Ahhhh It's So!

Nuapapu Island and the village of Matamaka. Spectacular diving and snorkelling, especially on the northwest coast, and when the sun hits the natural reefs below in the afternoon it is a real sight to see. Explore the island or just kick back on board with a good book.
Adjacent to Nuapapu Island is the small island of Naku; arguably, Tonga’s most beautiful. Just across passage is an excellent snorkelling and swimming spot for beginners.
Enjoy the wonderful beaches before enjoying Tonga at its most traditional with Polynesian dancing and feast under the stars.

Day 4/5: Untouched Pure Paradise!

Vaka′eitu Island is linked to Nuapapu by a stunningly beautiful reef, forming a giant horseshoe-shaped bay. The small island of Lape rises 180 feet and serves as a picturesque backdrop to this scenic anchorage. Vaka′eitu cruising is a pure delight. Take the dinghy ashore and climb to the top of the hill. The view is magnificent. From July through November watch the humpback whales and calf's swim.

Day 5/6: Experience Micronesian Culture!

In the west sits the island of Hunga, home to a massive lagoon created by the crater of an extinct volcano. Also worth discovering is a tiny, still traditional village as well as a large luxury resort.

Day 6/7: Sandy Bliss!

We sail to Lauhaipu for the day; an uninhabited island, which, besides being undeniably beautiful, is also a tranquil escape. We will move just around the point so you can have lunch and drinks on your own private Island.

Day 7: All Good Things Must Come To An End.

Perfect ending as we sail back to Neiafa.
Time to say ‘Nofo a’ – Goodbye. We know you will have amazing awe-inspiring moments with us in Tonga and we look forward to seeing you again for exploring sailing, snorkelling, kiting, surfing, and magic sunsets.
